In 1927 the Indian Prince remained largely the same technical spec as the 1926. To identify this bike. Engine numbers start BL001. OHV numbers have an R after the standard letter model year.
OHV numbers for a 1927 would be: BLR-001
They did however change the mudguards and a few other minor parts. New wider drop side fenders
with raised center, automatic oiler was the same. New style exhaust and minor generator changes
and location for appearance, A new brake on the Prince with optional foot brake control, new intake valve material, longer rear axle nuts, larger cam bearing and cam shaft, larger foot brake lever, 25 x 3.30 smaller tires on front rim: 25″ diameter 36 spokes, rear 24″ X 3″ CC rims ( painted Black ).

The Indian Prince used the same Splitdorf Magneto model GH-1 as the 1925 model.
