In 1926 The Indian Prince got 17 new improvements. To identify this bike. Engine numbers start AL001. OHV numbers have an R after the standard letter model year.

The mudguards (fenders)remained the same.
The big change was to the new streamline look with the new style gas tank. The automatic oiler remained the same as the previous year a new Messinger saddle plus a lower sportier seat position, New longer handlebars, new keystone frame with larger tubing, battery box with top and side removal, higher re-positioned generator and chainguard extended in curve over sprocket.

The Indian Prince used the same Splitdorf Magneto model GH-1 as the 1925 model.
